Formed in December 1977, RDT Precision Engineers Ltd has over 30 years experience in supplying finished components directly to our customers, located worldwide. RDT is situated within easy reach of the major Scottish road network and airports for worldwide distribution of parts.

The company has developed a good reputation for producing quality components over the years, and are BS ISO9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 approved.

Over the years, the industry trend has been to move to CNC machining. RDT has recognised this and continual investment in modern machine tools, has given scope to deal with a diverse product base. This ranges from one-off intricate parts to high volume bar and batch work. Highly skilled personnel control the workflow to ensure quality and performance is maintained. Every stage of production from sourcing material to final delivery is carefully monitored to ensure exact customer specifications are maintained. RDT has also installed an E-Max job processing system for continuous improvement of the facility.

RDT has extensive experience in the machining and finishing of many difficult materials, and can also provide a variety of finishes courtesy of our in-house coating facility.
